Du bon Pain

Well, The first week of second semester has started. Unfortunately, I am already ready for spring break. Lets be real nobody likes school. Especially, since I am so older it bores me. Jk lol. So the first two weeks of this second semester have been pretty chill.

To start off: I have two teachers who already know me and love me. Prof Mandel and Prof Quilici. During the first two weeks of class they have asserted my as the wise year-round student. In reality, what that means is they abuse me. Prof Quilici used me as her personal assistant the first two weeks and I don't see her letting up. I don't mind though it means that I get away with certain things like responding "I don't know ?" to questions I do know the answers to. Yea not sooo much for Prof Mandel. Things are the same but oh so different. Of course she loves me, I don't know what teacher doesn't?

Prof Mandel has made it clear that as the only male in the class room I will be the help (mainly that means because i am the tallest i will be pulling down the projector screen when it is too high. Just like last semester). They should really pay me for being the help. The bad thing about Prof Mandel is that she knows my talents in her class and she always calls on me. What I a trying to say is that she will not let me get away with acting like I have no clue whats going on because: I ALWAYS KNOW. The tests in the past have proven it. Ugh, my fault for being a good student. I am happy that I am though for Professor Mandel likes to practice the French way of handing back papers. Let me explain, Europeans are straight forward. Therefore, when handing back tests Professor Mandel stands in front of you and says out loud how your work was. Imagine it. You are sitting in class just thinking she'll hand them back but then she starts critiquing everyones work. Terrifying but luckily, she comes up to me and says intelligent work. Other haven't been so lucky in the past. She has gone as far to calls a persons work lazy in front of the whole class. Now, you understand why I am such a good student with her. Basically those two classes will be a breeze. IK will explain my other ones later.

Its Sunday so of course I had Sunday dinner with Madame Germain:

Pave de Rumsteack au poivre avec des pommes de terre sarladaises. Avec du bon pain Kayser. English Translation at the bottom.
Du bon Pain Kayser

MMMMMmmmm Rumsteak

Beautiful Baguette
A rumsteak with a sause with potatoes fried in goose grease with good bread from Eric Kayser. My host mom loves the Kayser bread its really well made. They (Madame Germain and her sister) wait in massive lines and travel to the other side of the city to get it. So it must be good right? It is, she made me take pictures of the whole love ad the nice aerated inside. Enjoy the pics

  1. Something about being "fried in goose grease" that sounds good to me!
