Pre-Departure

Funny thing about the title of this blog: the means a as in a or A. As in Andrew my name. kind of a double entendre I'm good. ( I do realize most will not understand). With that being said its safe the say that Paris will be having a lovely 9-month meeting with Andrew Dunc and a member of the Duncan clan (meaning Paris will be forced to realize a Duncan is a Duncan: we like our traditions and football, I can say that as head Tradition enforcer of the Family)

Well hello!

Welcome to my blog, which is one of many. This one, most importantly, is to keep my friends and followers (yes, I have followers) up to date on my life and adventures, while I am abroad in Paris. I leave in a few hours and I have not showered in days. That shall change after I finish this post. I have waited a long time for this moment and only a short few hours stand in my path of adventure and wholehearted good times. If you are just figuring out that I am studying abroad or you just have not a clue of the details let me inform you:

1. I shall be attending the L'Institut Catholique de Paris (no its not a Christian school)

2. I'm living with a French flight attendant, Mme Germain ( originally I was staying with her sister, who is married to a Panamanian diplomat, for the first few months until January. I would then transfer across the hallway to live with the sister who is a flight attendant for the rest of my sejour (stay) in France). I'm totally fine with that. Hope she's cool .

3. Yes, I am living next to a Afro-Americaine Barbershop. How? Idk, but its pretty cool

4.  I will be living in the 18th Arrondisement (district) in Paris its right by Monmarte and  according to Prof Costello (adviser) its an up and coming hip neighborhood. When I get through with it it will be just the hood.

5. I still have yet to pack. I am a such a slacker.

At this point, I don't have much to write so I am going to log of and finally shower because I smell. If this grosses you out, Sorry!

I shall speak with you later.
